Since 2018, we’ve been a trusted design partner for Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), shaping their digital landscape and amplifying their brand voice. Our collaboration began with the launch of their brand guideline website, a cornerstone that solidified their visual identity. Fast forward to 2023, and we upped the ante with a complete website relaunch for a16z. This project centered around creating a custom WordPress design that perfectly captured their innovative spirit and reflected their evolving focus within the investment landscape.

Fueled by a new investment thesis and strategic expansion plans, a16z required a website solution that could achieve a delicate balance. They needed a platform that could showcase the distinct branding of their individual investment verticals while simultaneously maintaining a unified presence under the core a16z brand umbrella.

Through close collaboration, we tackled this challenge head-on. Our design team meticulously crafted a custom WordPress design system that empowered each vertical to flourish and express its unique identity. At the same time, the system ensured a cohesive connection to the core a16z brand, guaranteeing a clear and powerful message across all a16z properties. This resulted in a website that not only reflected a16z’s cutting-edge approach but also effectively communicated their diverse investment focus to a global audience.
